Dedicated to all those Pony Island tattoo artists!

This site houses guide images for the various tattoo locations
on all the current Pony Island pony breeds. For larger images,
click on the thumbnail pictures. To save the image, right click
on the picture and select save picture as... Once you have the
image stored on your computer, you may need to convert it to
bitmap or jpeg style. How you do this will depend upon which art
program you use and you would find the information most easily
in your art program's help files.

With every turn of the season, PonyIsland brings us change. And
along with the changes to PonyIsland come the changes to tattoos!
PonyIsland's gracious hostess VeeZ has supplied Kiroge with art.
Not just any art, but the guides to the new tattoo locations for
PonyIsland: the Next Generation! However, along with the new guides
there also come new notes and rules to keep in mind when creating
the wonderful art that helps make PonyIsland wonderful. Here is a
list of the new tattoo specifications as Kiroge has learned:

Tattoo Guidelines
1: There are now three tattoo slots per pony. The tattoo slots have
been generously color coded by VeeZ. Please remember the colors!
Blue = Slot 1, Red = Slot 2, Green = Slot 3
2: Animated tattoos are no longer animated. Sorry folks, it broke
more than just Kiroge's heart to learn this bit of news!
3: You no longer have to worry about the tattoos hanging outside the
lines on your ponies. This renders most hair, jewelry, armor, etc...
tattoos pretty much out of the question. Another sorry!
4: The new pony images have layers! This means that things like pony
wings, manes, tails, body lines, scales, shading... All now overlaps
the tattoos. This is to give the pony a more authentic MLP look!
5: You no longer have to worry about sticking to the 50x50 pixel
tattoo size! From what Kiroge has seen, the tattoos now shrink or
stretch to fit into their slot size... This does not mean for you
to attempt to shove a massive image into a tattoo!
6: Twice As Fancy, or TAF, tattoos are now possible!

With all that said, and Kiroge hopes she got it all, here are the
new tattoo guides! Oh yeah! Kiroge managed to persuade some dark
ponies around PonyIsland to don perfect 50x50 pixel, pure cyan
solid square tattoos in all three tattoo slots to demonstrate just
what is meant by shading and overlapping... Thanks ponies!
